This week has a lot of leather workers gearing up for the Pendleton Leather Show. This is an annual event held in Pendleton, Oregon, the first weekend of November. This show consists of classes, competitions, and my favorite- a trade show.
There are classes to refine skills, like edge finishing or swivel knife finesse. Or you can sign up to make and come home with a project, such as a wallet, tote, or notebook cover. All the classes are taught by those that are experienced in that field.
Now my favorite part, the trade show. There are exhibitors from all over the country selling just what you need. Leather, tools, creams, dyes. machines- you name it, and it will be there. Save on shipping and stock up on your favorites.
Great food and music is always on hand, this is a show that has become an event that shouldn't be missed. Check out the website to register and find a list of classes and vendors.
